How we assess a proposal
- Reader value first. Does it produce something our audience genuinely wants to read?
- Clear labelling. Partner-funded work is marked, and editorial judgement stays with the editor.
- Defined scope. Deliverables, timelines and approvals agreed in writing before we start.
- No pay-for-coverage. We will not sell favourable reporting, and saying so up front saves everyone time.
Proposals go to the chief editor and the commercial lead together. Expect a reply within three working days, and a straight answer either way.
